CDCP
Affordable dental care with the CDCP.
We accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan, the government program that makes dental care more affordable for uninsured Canadians. Since June 2025, it covers every age group.
Do you qualify?
To qualify for the CDCP, you need to meet all four of these requirements:
- You don’t have access to private dental insurance, including through work, a pension, a family member’s plan or a health spending account.
- You, and your spouse or common-law partner if you have one, filed your tax returns in Canada for the previous year.
- Your adjusted family net income is less than $90,000.
- You, and your spouse or common-law partner, are Canadian residents for tax purposes.
Dental coverage through a provincial, territorial or federal government program doesn’t rule you out. The Government of Canada sets these rules and can change them, so confirm your eligibility on canada.ca.
What you pay
Your share depends on your adjusted family net income. It’s a percentage of the CDCP’s set fees:
- Under $70,000
- The CDCP covers 100%. You pay no co-payment.
- $70,000 to $79,999
- The CDCP covers 60%. You pay 40%.
- $80,000 to $89,999
- The CDCP covers 40%. You pay 60%.
Our fees can be higher than the CDCP’s set fees. We’ll always tell you about any extra cost before treatment begins.

Common questions
What is included in the Canadian Dental Care Plan?
The CDCP helps pay for preventive care, exams and X-rays, fillings and crowns, root canals, dentures, gum treatment, extractions and sedation. Braces aren’t covered right now. With an adjusted family net income under $70,000, you pay no co-payment.
How do I apply for the CDCP?
You apply through the Government of Canada at canada.ca. Once you’re enrolled and have your CDCP ID, book with us online or by phone.
Can I use the CDCP if I have dental insurance?
Not if it’s private insurance, even if you’ve never used it or chose not to enrol. Coverage through a government program is fine. If you have private insurance, we accept most plans and can help you with your claims.
Who can I ask about my coverage?
