Service

Teeth whitening in Barrie.

Professional whitening lifts stains from coffee, tea, wine and time. It’s safer and more even than store-bought kits, because your dentist checks your teeth first and tailors the treatment to you.

Good for

  • Yellowing or dull teeth
  • Coffee, tea and wine stains
  • Brightening before a wedding or event
  • Patients with sensitivity who want supervised care

What to expect

  1. Check first

We make sure your teeth and gums are healthy, since whitening doesn’t change fillings or crowns.

  2. Whitening

In-office whitening takes about an hour and a half. Sit back and relax while we brighten your smile.

  3. Keep it bright

Simple habits and the occasional touch-up help your results last.

How it works

A hydrogen or carbamide peroxide gel passes through the enamel and breaks up stains in the layer underneath. Most patients see their teeth get two to six shades lighter in a single visit.

Common questions

All FAQs
Will whitening make my teeth sensitive?

Some short-term sensitivity is common. We can adjust the treatment and recommend products to keep you comfortable.

Does whitening work on crowns or fillings?

No. Whitening only lightens natural enamel, so we plan around any existing dental work.

How long do the results last?

Typically two to five years. Coffee, tea, wine and smoking can bring stains back sooner, and touch-ups help.

How long is the appointment?

About an hour and a half for in-office whitening.
